💡 How to Prepare / Use (Step-by-Step)
Prep (Simple Rinse): Wash the rice gently 2 times. To maximize the absorption of its natural minerals, soak the grains for 20 to 30 minutes before cooking.
Cook (The Fluffy Method): Use a water-to-rice ratio of 2:1 for firm, separate grains, or 2.5:1 for a softer texture. Pressure cook for 2–3 whistles, or cook in an open pot for approximately 15–18 minutes.
Serve (The Ideal Pairing): Because the grains stay separate and non-sticky, it is the perfect base for Fried Rice, Lemon Rice, or Tamarind Rice (Puliogare). It also pairs excellently with spicy, thin-consistency gravies.
